EEA Nationals and Family Members

In addition to the BN(O) visa, the UK also offers various visa routes for EEA (European Economic Area) nationals and their family members. The EEA includes countries such as Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden.

EEA nationals have the right to free movement within the EEA, which means they can live and work in the UK without the need for a visa. However, they may still need to apply for a residence card or a registration certificate to confirm their status in the UK.

Family members of EEA nationals, including spouses, civil partners, and dependent children, may also be eligible to join their family in the UK. They will need to apply for a family permit or a residence card, depending on their individual circumstances.
